About me
Hello, I’m Julie, the smiley one in the orange dress, with my husband on our daughter’s wedding day which is where this all began. I’ve always loved a good wedding, especially those that are a truly personal celebration of the happy couple so I decided to train as a Civil Celebrant with the International College of Professional Celebrants. I’ve also always loved creative writing and I now design and deliver ceremonies for all of life’s milestones, both happy and sad, and it is an honour and privilege to be a part of these special days.

Weddings & Vow Renewals
We get to know each other from our initial meeting & then through our chats/emails I’ll find out more about your love story and the atmosphere and style of ceremony you’d like. I can suggest ideas on music, readings and poems and the all important ring exchange and vow wordings. You can incorporate symbolic rituals like handfasting, sand-blending, unity candle & so many others that can also include your family and friends. Your ceremony should be as individual as you two … warm, engaging & informal or as grand & elaborate as you want at a time & location of your choice. I will send your bespoke ceremony script (which we can then collaborate on & tweak if needed) and you will receive a final presentation copy as a keepsake. We can rehearse if required & then on the big day I will arrive early to ensure all runs smoothly. As you know, a celebrant can’t marry you legally at present, but this can be done easily at a local Register Office (just like registering a birth) with 2 witnesses to obtain your legal paperwork. This will leave you free to celebrate on your chosen day/venue with your bespoke, heart-warming, uplifting & memorable ceremony that reflects the two of you, your values and hopes for the future.
